Trade transactions between Iran and Romania during the 11 months to Nov. 30, 2017, reached €437.13 million.

Chairman of the Agriculture, Water and Food Industries Commission in Tehran Chamber of Commerce Kaveh Zargaran in a piece originally published by the Persian-language daily ‘Iran’ on Sunday, stressed that the timing of the visit by the big European delegation is important as it is taking place amid rising anti-Iran rhetoric by the US President Donald Trump and his hostile approach towards the Iran Nuclear deal, known also as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of action (JCPOA).

Iran’s trade with Turkey stood at $10.75 billion in 2017, registering an increase of 11.24% compared to 2016, latest figures from Turkish Statistical Institute shows.

France will start offering euro-denominated credits to Iranian buyers of its goods later this year, a move to bolster trade while keeping it outside the reach of U.S. sanctions, the head of state-owned investment bank Bpifrance said.
